ALD Automotive is launching ALD Bike, a soft mobility solution facilitating the access to bicycles in companies. The main aim is for companies in Luxembourg to promote cycling as a complementary means of transport facilitating their funding and management.
Cycling reduces the ecological impact of small business travels and is often faster for most urban journeys that are less than 5 km. Employee satisfaction will be increased due to a better accessibility to the workplace and a new interesting employee advantage.
"The 2017 tax reform and the regime announcing their favorability towards company’s bicycles created a positive context for the launch of bicycle leasing. Improving employee mobility is a complex thematic because each company and each employee has different specific needs. Bicycles are one of the pieces of the puzzle. The launch responds to our client’s demand to offer more flexibility to their employees. Car budget is growing towards a mobility budget where the drivers compose their own packages adapted to their personal needs”, highlights Dominique Roger, General Manager.
This new solution is a part of the ALD bluefeet programme, a label regrouping all offers dedicated to the limitation of environmental impact.
