The European Week of Mobility is a week where alternative modes of transport are put forward. As a consequence, IMS Luxembourg organised the first Bike Bus in Luxembourg, in collaboration with Krys sàrl, in accordance with their Walk-Run-Bike project. This is an innovative concept and is a new solution to individual car use because the goal is to travel in groups and with bicycles between the Luxembourg Train Station and the Kirchberg, just like it would be done with a bus.
The Bike Bus was launched this Monday at 09:00am in presence of the Sustainable Development and Infrastructure Minister, Mr François Bausch, and of Liz May, an Olympic triathlete. This week, this initiative is mobilising a few companies aiming to encourage the motivated and sportive employees to go to work on two wheels.
This ecological, friendly, and sportive experience, is a part of the Mobility Week, bringing together 45 different countries, and is demonstrating that it is possible to adapt your own travel mode in order to reduce vehicle traffic and to feel more peaceful when arriving at work.
