Companies which are members of IMS meet associations own the field

IMS Luxembourg organized, for the first time, a Bus Tour to introduce associations from Esch to members of the network. As a crossroads of stakeholders, IMS has chosen to bring its members on the ground to better understand the reality and challenges faced by associations. The day ended with a very special edition of the Speed ??Meeting Part & Act at Kulturfabrik.

12:30: We all found ourselves in front of the Kulturfabrik for a departure in a bus Sales-Lentz, which supported this Bus Tour, to discover three local associations. IMS Luxembourg wished to innovate and inspire its members via this concept, already developed by our Swiss counterparts, which allows to meet and exchange dynamically with the associations in their environment. The network Transition Minett, via the Maison de la Transition, Médecins du Monde and the CIGL d'Esch were honored. A dozen members embarked on this adventure and found themselves tasting an organic and local meal, visit a care center for citizens excluded by the national health system or even passage through a Ecological garden maintained by people in reintegration. The diversity of activities has mobilized companies on various subjects related to sustainable development.

A unique Speed ??Meeting: the roles are reversed

At the end of the day, our member, the Kulturfabrik, opened its doors for a special edition of the Speed ??Meeting Part & Act. Beyond the Christmas decorations typical of this period, the roles of companies and associations were reversed: companies had the opportunity to meet potential associative partners, listed by thematic areas and according to criteria of Sustainable Development Goals, from the ONU. The exchange of services, goods or skills thus quickly began. Deloitte and the Sportunity, association working on the integration of young refugees through sport in Luxembourg, have for example signed a partnership to organize a friendly football match.

More than 60 people participated and more than 20 partnership contracts have been signed. A success for this unique edition, supported by the City of Esch-sur-Alzette.
